Confessions of a Hoarder (a de-cluttering blog you should check out if you haven't already!) posted an article today. Living Landfill : A Portrait of Hoarding Disorder. It's a sad story about a situation that was discovered after the woman's death. The pictures are extreme. Far, far, far beyond what I've ever experienced, but they are still motivational. Especially when you realize that it had to start somewhere. The woman's daughter is interviewed and says her mother's house wasn't always like that. It sounds like her kids moving out triggered something. Anyway, it's worth a read.

The story reminded me of that documentary film, My Mother's Garden...so very sad...It's truly a mental illness.
